Responsibilities:

• Own end to end facilities design strategy across new builds and major expansions
• Define and standardise mechanical and electrical design principles across regions
• Lead design reviews, ensuring scalability, efficiency and operational resilience
• Provide technical oversight across HVAC, power and critical infrastructure layouts
• Act as senior escalation point for complex design decisions and trade offs
• Drive collaboration between design consultants, vendors, construction and operations
• Shape long term capacity planning, density strategy and design innovation
• Support commissioning strategy and ensure smooth transition into live operations

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in data center facilities design within hyperscale or AI environments
• Deep expertise across mechanical and electrical systems in mission critical environments
• Strong background influencing designs from concept through construction and delivery
• Experience defining global or multi site design standards
• Confident reviewing and challenging consultant and vendor designs at a senior level
• Strong understanding of high density cooling and modern power architectures
• Experience working closely with executive stakeholders and cross functional teams
• Proven experience supporting commissioning strategy and operational readiness
