Responsibilities:

  • Administration and maintenance of enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, SLES).
  • Management and monitoring of infrastructure using Zabbix and Grafana.
  • Configuration and support of networking components including switching, VLANs, and firewalls.
  • Management of storage systems across heterogeneous Linux and Windows environments.
  • Support and maintenance of remote visualisation tools (VNC / VirtualGL).
  • Scripting and automation using Shell and Python.
  • Support of containerised environments and HPC ecosystems where applicable.
  • Collaboration within technologically advanced environments to ensure operational excellence.
  • Contribution to innovation, continuous improvement, and infrastructure optimisation initiatives.


Skills/Must have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Linux System Administrator.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SLES, etc.).
  • Strong networking knowledge (Switching, VLAN, Firewalls).
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as Zabbix and Grafana.
  • Storage systems management in heterogeneous Linux/Windows environments.
  • Administration and maintenance of remote visualisation on Linux systems (VNC / VirtualGL).
  • Scripting/programming skills in Shell Script and Python.


Nice to have:

  • Linux certification.
  • Experience with Docker, Singularity, Red Hat Containers.
  • Knowledge of Parallel File Systems (Lustre, BeeGFS, GPFS, CEPH).
  • Experience with HPC schedulers (PBS, LSF, SLURM).
  • Enterprise storage platforms (DDN, NetApp, Isilon, Qumulo).
  • Basic knowledge of MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
  • Deployment tools such as Xcat and Bright Cluster Manager.
  • Experience with Dell, HP, or Lenovo server platforms and Linux-based solution engineering.
