Responsibilities:

• Own mechanical and cooling design strategy across new builds and major expansions
• Define and standardise HVAC and cooling principles across multiple regions
• Lead mechanical design reviews ensuring scalability, efficiency and resilience
• Provide senior oversight across cooling architecture and data hall layouts
• Act as technical authority for complex mechanical and thermal design decisions
• Drive collaboration between consultants, vendors, construction and operations
• Shape high density cooling strategy aligned to AI and GPU workloads
• Support commissioning strategy and ensure smooth operational handover

Required Skills:

• Extensive mechanical engineering experience within data center environments
• Deep HVAC design expertise including validation and verification
• Strong background delivering projects through design and construction phases
• Experience defining cooling strategies for high density data halls
• Confident reviewing and challenging consultant and vendor designs
• Strong understanding of modern cooling approaches for AI infrastructure
• Experience influencing standards across multiple sites or regions
• Proven involvement in commissioning and operational readiness

Salary:

• Up to €9,000 gross per month
