Senior Network Engineer - Systems Integrator

This role is ideal for an engineer who has built and supported complex network environments in Managed Service Provider (MSP) settings and is comfortable owning network design, implementation, and escalation support across multiple client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support enterprise and mid-market network infrastructures across multiple client environments
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex network and security issues
• Lead deployments and migrations involving firewalls, switching, wireless, and WAN solutions
• Architect and maintain secure network designs using Fortinet and Cisco/Meraki technologies
• Support and optimize LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless environments
• Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
• Participate in change management, documentation, and network standardization efforts
• Collaborate with project managers, service delivery teams, and pre-sales engineers as needed

Technical Experience & Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPNs, security policies)
• Experience with Cisco and Meraki technologies, including:
• Switching & routing
• Meraki MX, MS, and MR
• Wireless LAN design and troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of:
  • TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP
  • Network security best practices
  • Firewall rule design and segmentation
• Experience supporting multi-tenant environments typical of MSPs
• Exposure to SD-WAN, cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure), and SaaS integrations is a plus

Required Background:

• 5–10+ years of network engineering experience
• Proven experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or consulting environment
• Comfortable supporting multiple clients and environments simultaneously
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Certifications:

• Fortinet certifications (NSE 4–7 or FCP/FCSS)
• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCNA, or Meraki certifications)
• Other networking or security certifications are a plus

Salary:

• $110,000 - $130,000
