Responsibilities:

• Design and build core platform components for infrastructure orchestration, provisioning, and lifecycle management
• Develop APIs, services, and control planes that manage diverse infrastructure types including VMs, Kubernetes clusters, and bare-metal systems
• Translate customer usage patterns into product requirements and platform improvements
• Build automation and internal tooling to remove manual operational processes
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and observability
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define boundaries between platform capabilities and customer-specific solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented production code
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term platform design decisions,

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Platform, or Backend Engineering roles
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, storage, and distributed architectures
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, VM infrastructure, or bare-metal provisioning
• Advanced software engineering capability with Go, Python, or similar languages
• Extensive experience using infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
• Ability to work through ambiguity and design scalable abstractions for complex systems
• Product mindset with focus on reliability, usability, and long-term maintainability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GPU infrastructure or AI / ML compute environments
• Experience designing control planes or orchestration systems
• Background spanning both infrastructure engineering and backend application development
• Experience building or architecting multi-tenant infrastructure platforms
• Strong technical documentation and design writing skills
• Experience working in early-stage startup environments

Salary:

• $200,000 – $250,000 Base Salary
