Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management & Optimization
• Manage and maintain server environments (Windows/Linux) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Oversee hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises hardware and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Optimize system performance through regular auditing, patching, and resource allocation.

• Network & Security Administration:
  • Administer core networking components, including switches, routers, and firewalls, to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
  • Implement and monitor comprehensive security protocols, including endpoint protection, identity management (IAM), and encryption.
  • Lead incident response efforts and conduct root-cause analysis for any major system or network outages.

• Client Consultation & Technical Leadership:
  • Act as a senior technical advisor for clients, helping them plan infrastructure upgrades and digital transformation projects.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for Tier 3 technical support issues.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior system administrators and help desk staff.

• Backup, Recovery & Compliance:
  • Design and manage robust backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies to guarantee data integrity and business continuity.
  • Ensure client systems meet industry-specific compliance standards (such as SOC2, HIPAA, or PIPEDA in the Canadian context).

Skills/Must have:

• 10+ Years in systems Administration.
• Extensive experience across Azure (including integrating with legacy systems), AWS, M365 
• Exceptional communication skills (client facing) are a must.

Salary:

• 80-130k
