Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deliver software solutions to meet defined business and technical requirements
• Collaborate with architecture teams and wider stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurate and well understood
• Merge and manage code through CI/CD pipelines
• Review code produced by peers and provide constructive feedback
• Support and maintain existing software deployments
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve defects
• Prepare, execute and document tests for software deliverables
• Develop and maintain automated test suites and supporting test platforms
• Support release activities, including early-life defect remediation, feature requests and ad-hoc user support

Skills/Must have:

• Commercial experience developing distributed cloud systems, ideally using AWS
• Strong experience with Python in a production environment
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and their cloud-based implementations
• Experience designing, building and consuming secure APIs
• Proven ability to troubleshoot application and API performance issues
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
• Experience working with Test-Driven Development practices
• Hands-on experience building automated test suites for web UIs, APIs and business software processes
• A proactive, detail-oriented team player with strong problem-solving skills

Salary:

• £40k - £50k
