A leading international provider of end-to-end materials supply, logistics, and value-added services for the broadband and telecommunications sectors is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join its expanding team in Germany. With a strong presence across Europe and beyond, the company supports a wide range of technologies, including HFC, FTTH, FTTx, 5G/mobile, and data center infrastructure. Their deep expertise in supply chain optimization, technical consulting, and equipment distribution makes them a trusted partner for telecom operators, service providers, and contractors.

In this role, you’ll take a hybrid approach—developing new business opportunities while managing and growing relationships with existing customers in the telecom infrastructure space. Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell active telecommunications infrastructure hardware and solutions across Germany
  • Build and manage relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training sessions
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers, understanding their network needs and proposing tailored solutions
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Travel extensively across Germany, with some international trips as needed

Skills/Must have:

  • Experience in selling active telecom network equipment (e.g., optical transport, broadband access, switching/routing)
  • Alternatively, a technical background at a telecom carrier, having been involved in specifying and procuring infrastructure solutions
  • Deep understanding of telecommunications networks and infrastructure from either a vendor or operator perspective
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with a consultative sales approach
  • Able to work independently and manage a field-based role
  • Fluent in German and English

Salary:

  • €60,000 – €70,000 basic + €30,000 – €40,000 bonus potential + company car
