Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct field crews performing underground and aerial telecom construction work.
  • Promote and enforce all safety standards, leading daily tailboard talks and job hazard assessments.
  • Coordinate regularly with project managers, inspectors, and customer representatives to ensure alignment.
  • Confirm utility locates are accurate and properly marked before any digging activities begin.
  • Manage conduit installation, fiber placement, and splicing operations while verifying workmanship quality.
  • Ensure all job sites are restored and cleaned to meet client and local compliance requirements.
  • Organise labour, equipment, and materials to support efficient daily workflow and project progress.
  • Keep detailed and accurate redlines/as-built documentation for all completed installations.
  • Track and record daily production figures, safety notes, and any incidents for reporting purposes.
  • Build and maintain a team environment focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Skills/Must have:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a Foreman role within telecom or utility construction.
  • Proven leadership, clear communication skills, strong troubleshooting ability, and the capability to interpret plans and follow technical specifications.
  • Must hold a valid CDL-A.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is required.
