Underground Equipment Operator - Telecommunications

Responsibilities:

• Operate mini excavators, backhoes, skid steers, and chain trenchers
• Perform directional drilling
• Support underground telecommunications construction projects
• Perform manual labor tasks including hauling and hoisting materials
• Organize and maintain tools and equipment
• Trim trees and clear brush at job sites
• Assist with confined space entry and traffic control in work zones
• Follow all safety procedures and incident reporting protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Skills / Must Haves:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL-A preferred but not required)
• Experience operating heavy equipment; certification preferred
• Telecommunications field experience
• Ability to work at heights, in manholes, and confined spaces
