Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership (Primary Focus):
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10+ Pre-Sales Engineers/Consultant
- Provide indirect leadership across a broader 75-person technical organization
- Drive performance management, coaching, and career development
- Build a high-accountability, high-performance culture
- Pre-Sales Organization Management:
- Own day-to-day operations of the pre-sales engineering function
- Standardize processes across:
- Solution development
- Technical validation
- RFP/RFI responses
- Deal support frameworks
- Improve win rates, consistency, and scalability
Skills/Must have:
- 5+ years of people leadership within Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering
- Prior background as an individual contributor (hands-on SE/Architect)
- Experience within a VAR, MSP, or Systems Integrator environment
- Strong exposure to enterprise technologies across:
- Networking
- Cloud
- Automation
- AI/Data (preferred but not mandatory)
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and scale technical team
