Our client is a leading provider of Cyber Security and IT Services in the UK, serving a diverse range of clients. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, Cisco Partner, and Juniper Partner, they pride themselves on delivering reliable and cutting-edge solutions to their customers. Their largest client is a prominent Italian financial services business located in London.

As a 2nd Line Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing IT support and ensuring the seamless operation of their clients' systems. Fluent in Italian, you will be the bridge between their technical team and their Italian-speaking clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their specific requirements.

The offices are located in Liverpool Street, but the job is remote and requires you to be on-site for one week out of every five.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-line technical support to resolve IT issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with Italian-speaking clients to understand and address their IT concerns.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, with a focus on Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba technologies.
  • Work with Microsoft Infrastructure, including Windows Servers.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain cybersecurity measures.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in an IT Support Desk role.
  • Fluent in Italian (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in LAN/WAN technologies, with expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure, including Windows Servers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • CCNA or MCSA certification.
