Network Design Engineer (ACI) - Banking

A UK bank is seeking an experienced Network Design Engineer to join their growing team. This role will involve designing network solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco networks, with experience in high-level and low-level design, as well as experience with Cisco ACI or SDWAN.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement network designs for our data centres, including high-level and low-level design documents.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of network solutions.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure network solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
• Analyze network performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in capacity planning and network capacity management.
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Document network designs, configurations, and changes.

Skills/Must have:

• At least 3-4yrs+ years of experience in network design and implementation.
• Strong experience with Cisco networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with ACI
