Hamilton Barnes are representing a leading IT-Consultancy who are looking for a Network Engineer for one of their exclusive clients.
You will be joining one of the biggest organisations across Europe, incorporating some of the latest technologies into their Network.
This role is an initial 6-Month Contract, with views for multiple extensions.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with wireless technology, particularly Cisco, along with extensive knowledge of switching and routing. Additionally, you'll be involved in performance tuning, bandwidth monitoring, and maintaining services and hardware under the network team's responsibility. Contribution to documentation, standards review, and troubleshooting on LAN and Wireless platforms are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure Management:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot wireless access points and controllers.
- Perform remote monitoring and management of network infrastructure using SolarWinds network monitoring tool.
- Incident Resolution:
- Respond to network-related tickets and incidents.
- Escalate issues as needed.
Skills/Must have:
- The successful candidate must have strong Cisco R&S (CCNP Level)
- At least 3-4 years experience deploying Wireless APs - Cisco
- Cisco SD-WAN and SD-Access exposure
- Cisco ISE - Design and implementation
Day Rate:
- Negotiable - Up to £475 Per Day (Inside IR35)
