The Network Security Engineer will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, implementing, and configuring complex network and security infrastructure. 

This hands-on position requires collaboration with various technical and business units to ensure the reliability and security of our network systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architecture, routing protocols, and security frameworks.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage complex network architecture to meet business requirements
  • Support network and security infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and more
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and assist in conducting security audits
  • Ensure network systems comply with relevant regulatory standards
  • Participate in incident response and network outage remediation
  • Assist in developing network-specific security policies and procedures
  • Implement automation scripts to streamline network tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and implement effective network solutions


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Information Technology preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on networking and security experience
  • Strong understanding of network administration, architecture, and security principles
  • Familiarity with access control models and coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python)
  • Experience with network diagnostic tools and security technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Cloud networking experience
  • Networking and security certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001

Salary: 

  • Up to $130,000
