As a Penetration Tester, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding organizations in today's digital landscape.

Reporting directly to the Head of Penetration Testing, you'll conduct thorough penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. Your role involves scoping, delivering penetration testing exercises, and providing clear and concise reports of your findings. You'll collaborate with colleagues across different teams to offer comprehensive cybersecurity services that meet our clients' needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Scope and deliver penetration testing and attack simulation exercises.
  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities in systems and applications using manual and automated testing methods.
  • Write clear and concise penetration testing reports with detailed findings and recommendations.
  • Provide recommendations for remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities to maintain current knowledge.

Skills/Must-have:

  • Circa 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in a relevant subject such as Ethical Hacking, Information Security, or Software Engineering.
  • Recognized certifications such as CREST Registered Penetration Tester (CRT), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification.
  • Experience with penetration testing tools and frameworks such as Burpsuite, Metasploit, Nmap, and Nessus.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems and networks such as Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of web application security, including experience with web application scanners and manual testing techniques.
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or C++.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
