As an Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building and supporting complex infrastructure and cloud-based services, capturing non-functional requirements and defining technical solutions to proposals (RFPs). 

You will be expected to work closely with the client’s IT teams and other colleagues (e.g. PMs) to achieve the goals of each project. 

The role also necessitates close cooperation with other companies within the Group. 


Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of technical architectures, implementation strategies,  migration plans and roadmaps; Document as-is and to-be architectures; Input in the development of projects; Develop presentations and business cases which resonate with client stakeholders and deliver value
  • Support the delivery of infrastructure projects such as design and delivery of Landing Zones, migration of workloads from on prem to Azure, deployment of and configuration of network/security appliances etc. 
  • Provide expert advice and assist in the resolution of project implementation issues or major incidents; Support the delivery of new solutions

Skills/Must have:

  • Strong oral and written technical documentation
  • Network technologies: TCP/IP, WAN, switches, routers, load-balancers etc.
  • Azure technologies: Azure ASR, RBAC, Express Route, Vnets etc. 
  • Security: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, PKI etc.
  • Experience working as a consultant or an engineer (or similar role) for a large organisation with a complex IT estate 
  • Experience delivering infrastructure/cloud solutions
  • Experience producing technical documentation
