Cloud Practice Leader - IT Infrastructure Service Provider

Our client is a global technology company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and services that empower organizations in their digital transformation journey. As a leader in the mainframe industry, they focus on helping clients harness the power of cloud technologies to drive business growth and efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join us as a Cloud Practice Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8 architects & consultants, leading the direction of our Cloud Practice in Italy, and driving business development and account management initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in supporting financial organisations to modernize their current legacy mainframe infrastructure and migrate this to a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Oversee and mentor a team of 8 Architects & Consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction of the Cloud Practice in Italy, aligning it with organizational goals and market trends.
• Business Development: Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities, and nurturing client relationships to ensure the growth of the Cloud Practice.
• Account Management: Take charge of client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and exploring avenues for upselling and cross-selling services.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong background in cloud technologies with expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience: 15 to 25 years of relevant experience in the IT industry, with a proven track record of success.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Italian and English is essential.
• Nice to Have: Understanding of mainframe systems.

Salary:

• Competitive basic salary of up to €150,000.

Location:

• Customer Site Visits: Frequent visits to customer sites in Northern Italy (maximum of 2 times a week).
