Responsibilities
- You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the cabling infrastructure that keeps our data centers running smoothly
- Your work will ensure seamless connectivity and the reliability of critical data systems
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Data Cabling Technician or similar role
- Familiarity with AV and IoT technologies, concepts, and installation practices
- Strong understanding of cable types, terminations, and installation methods
- Proficiency in using cabling tools and equipment, including cable testers and crimping tools
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and installation plans
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work in different environments and conditions
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and tasks
- Prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks within project deadlines
- A passion for technology, a quick learner, and an aptitude for staying updated with industry advancements
- Troubleshoot and resolve cabling and equipment-related issues to ensure seamless project execution
- Maintain accurate documentation of cable layouts, connections, and configurations
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to guarantee smooth communication and coordination
