Are you passionate about protecting businesses from cyber threats? We are working with a growing Canadian-based IT Managed Service Provider that are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join their team.

This is also a hybrid workgin role where you will have the chance to work from the comfort of your own home for 4 days a week!
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine database administration tasks including installation, configuration, migration, patching and upgrading of the database
- Identify and resolve database performance issues
- Conduct ongoing monitoring and proactive management of database systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and problems
- Develop and maintain documentation related to database administration procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting
Skills/Must have:
- Database Administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Greenplum, Sybase, MySQL
- Experience with Windows, Unix or Linux
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud
- Experience with database monitoring tools
