A high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Desktop Support Consultant to join our Enterprise Technology team.

This is a contract position for a duration of about 1 / 2 years and based on-site in New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on tickets related to desktop support
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and supporting Windows desktop, Linux desktops, MacOS laptops, and meeting room AV hardware
  • Creating new user accounts, groups, etc.
  • Repairing and upgrading hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting phones

Skills/Must have:

  • Experience supporting Windows desktop, Linux desktops, MacOS laptops, and meeting room AV hardware
  • Knowledge of Logitech AV hardware, JIRA, Confluence, and Linux
  • Identifying, prioritizing, resolving, and triaging incidents and requests
  • Working on tickets related to desktop support
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting phones
  • Supporting e-mail administration
  • Managing and maintaining information on Tower’s internal documentation hub, residing on Confluence pages

Salary:

  • $75 per hour
