We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join this small IT company and play a vital role in providing technical assistance to internal team members. 

The successful candidate will possess strong proficiency in desktop operating systems, particularly Windows, along with expertise in Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, and Exchange.   • Provide first-line technical support to our internal team members via various channels including phone, email, and in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems, including Windows 10, and ensure compatibility with our software applications.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Outlook for email and calendar management, Teams for collaboration, and Exchange for email server administration.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and distribution lists within the Office 365 environment.
  • Collaborate with our IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to desktop systems and software to ensure security and reliability.
  • Conduct hardware and software inventory management, including procurement and asset tracking.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for meetings and presentations.
  • Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role, preferably in a small IT company environment.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, particularly Windows 10.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Exchange.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a small-team setting.
  • A proactive and customer-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are advantageous.
