Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deploy, configure, and manage multiple workspaces platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and create a DevOps culture.
- Implement automation best practices, upholding client values within Government Digital Standards.
- Design and implement Infrastructure services in collaboration with Architecture and Engineering principles.
- Transform technical requirements into an effective DevOps toolchain enabling product delivery and implementing deployment strategies.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience with immutable infrastructure, version control, infrastructure as code, and containerisation tools (git, terraform, ansible, docker).
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud hosting (EC2, auto scaling groups, security groups, IAM roles, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
- Good understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networking, DNS, and routing changes in a zero-trust architecture.
- Experience with enterprise system monitoring tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk).
- Extensive experience with Windows Server and PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools.
- Security Clearance: SC eligibility/clearance is mandatory.
Proven Experience in:
- Large-scale organisations and/or Government/Public Sector within AWS utilizing Ansible Automation Platform.
- Practical DevOps roles with examples of assignments and key outcomes.
- Expert-level AWS infrastructure build and operate experience.
- Managing infrastructure as code with Ansible Automation Platform within a government organisation.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Azure cloud hosting, GitLab, ELK, Kibana, Dynatrace, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Puppet, Terraform, Packer, Python, Tenable, Vault.
- Familiarity with the Government Service Standard.
- Knowledge of Code and Security Analysis tools like Blackduck, Check Marx, SonarQube.

- Hybrid Working: 3 days mandatory.
Salary Range:
- £60,000 - £80,000.
