Enterprise Network Engineer - Banking and Finance

They are looking for an Enterprise Network Engineer to lead the refresh and ongoing operation of global office networks, including a major network transformation project in Chicago. This role provides true end-to-end ownership across networking, automation, infrastructure, and operational reliability. Design, build, and run networks across multiple regions, collaborating with a lean, high-performance team, and driving standards and performance in a technically advanced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise office and campus networks globally. 
• Lead network refresh and transformation projects, replacing legacy environments. 
• Deliver high-performance LAN, wireless, and security solutions across offices. 
• Work across network automation, infrastructure, and Linux environments. 
• Support and optimise AV and collaboration network environments. 
• Integrate and support Citrix Virtual Desktop infrastructure. 
• Troubleshoot complex multi-site network issues. 
• Travel globally to support office deployments and upgrades.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with enterprise or campus network environments. 
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco switching infrastructure. Experience delivering network implementations and refresh projects. 
• Exposure to network automation or infrastructure scripting. Strong understanding of enterprise network security principles. 
• Ability to operate across both projects and operational support. 
• Comfortable working in a high-performance, engineering-led environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in flex workspace or corporate office environments (e.g., WeWork-style). 
• Exposure to AV, smart office, or collaboration environments. 
• Experience with Citrix environments. Linux experience.

Working Pattern: 

• London, five days per week onsite. 
• Global travel required as part of the role.

Technical Environment:

• Cisco LAN switching, enterprise network security, network automation, Linux systems, Citrix Virtual Desktop, AV and collaboration environments.

Salary:

•  Up to £300,000 total compensation package (base + bonus)
