Entry Level SOC Analyst Financial Org

Hamilton Barnes are partnered with a large scale financial exchange with a global presence who have recently built a brand new Security Operations Centre in Porto.

They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst for a 12-month contract in the vibrant city of Porto.

For the first 6 months of this contract, you will be part of an industry leading SOC Training programme, run by some of the most experienced Cyber Security Professionals in Portugal.

Responsibilities:

• 6 Months working on an intensive SOC Training programme
• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM
• Analyze security incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and triage security alerts to determine the severity and appropriate response.

Skills/Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
