Fiber Splicing Technician (FTTH/FTTB) Needed in Houston!

As a Fiber Splicing Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our client, a well-established company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. You'll be responsible for a variety of splicing tasks, ensuring high-quality fiber optic network installations.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily splicing assignments, including small and large builds in FTTH/FTTB environments.
• Demonstrate expertise in various fiber splicing methods (fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, etc.).
• Terminate Anaerobic, LC, ST, and SC connectors with precision.
• Apply industry standards like BICSI, EIA/TIA, or NEC in your work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fiber optic issues using OTDR testing equipment (a plus).
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• 2-4+ years of experience in fiber optic splicing techniques.
• Strong understanding of fiber connector termination (Anaerobic, LC, ST, and SC).
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, or NEC standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
