Firewall Engineer - Communications Provider

We are partnered with a Communications Provider that is now seeking a Firewall Engineer to join their team. You'll play a pivotal role in the networking team, crafting and delivering cutting-edge firewall solutions for a diverse range of clients. 1. You'll lead the charge in developing complex firewall solutions, specializing in Palo Alto and Forcepoint firewalls, along with managing Cisco ASA's, Stormshields, Sophos, and Watchguard systems.
2. You'll be a crucial liaison between customers, suppliers, resellers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless deployment and implementation of network solutions.
3. You'll enjoy a hybrid work setup, with up to 5 days in the office during probation, transitioning to a flexible 2/3 days in the office thereafter.

Responsibilities:

• You'll delve into complex firewalling solutions, specializing in Palo Alto and Forcepoint firewalls while also handling Cisco ASA's, Stormshields, Sophos, and Watchguard systems.
• Provisioning and support aspects of the firewall solutions provided to customers. 
• Act as a crucial liaison between customers, suppliers, resellers, and our internal teams 
• Deploy and implement network solutions for customers and internal teams 

Required skills & experience:

• Palo Alto certified (or similar Firewall certs)
• Networking certified (CCNA or similar)
• Minimum 3 years experience in firewall support role

Salary:

• £35-40,000 
• Up to 10% bonus
