Global Network Engineer - Solutions Provider

They are seeking a Network Engineer to join their team and assist in running and developing their global network infrastructure. The role involves transitioning their network environment to a unified security and LAN partner, simplifying processes, and adopting a wireless-first approach.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of our network infrastructure, ensuring stability and scalability to support business growth.
• Collaborate with our network service partners to maintain accurate documentation and diagrams.
• Assist in planning and delivering global projects within specified deadlines.
• Deputize for the Global Manager when necessary.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage equipment lifecycle and ensure timely refresh of network components.
• Monitor and address patching and vulnerability alerts across our multi-vendor estate.
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners, End-User Computing (EUC), and Service Desk teams.
• Evaluate new technologies and products to maintain our competitive edge.

Requirements:

• Certified to professional level in Networking (ACP/CCNP/PNCSA)
• Experience with Cisco (Meraki), Extreme, Juniper, and Fortinet.

Location:

• 2 days per week - City of London

Salary:

• £50,000 basic salary per anum
