We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Engineer with expertise in server and network administration to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients, with a focus on maintaining server infrastructure and ensuring network reliability. 

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.


  • Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and ongoing management of Windows and Linux-based servers.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as software updates, patch management, and backup operations to ensure optimal server performance and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues, including connectivity problems, firewall configurations, and DNS/DHCP services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex technical issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Document all support activities, solutions, and configurations to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in the implementation of new technologies and solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve service delivery and technical expertise.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, with a focus on server and network administration.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows Server and Linux/Unix-based operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is highly desirable.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
  • Strong customer service orientation with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
