We are partnered with an IT solutions company that specialize in identifying and overcoming challenges to adoption, integrating emerging technologies, enabling automation, and developing flexible solutions that can scale across an organization. 

We are seeking a highly skilled Information System Security Officer to join their team at Nellis Air Force Base. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge security initiatives within a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, update, and fulfill RMF BOE and associated requirements, ensuring compliance with Configuration Management policies and procedures.
  • Analyze network security in alignment with RMF JSIG and NISPOM Chapter 8, providing guidance on certification and accreditation matters.
  • Conduct risk assessments and offer recommendations to enhance security posture.
  • Participate in Configuration Control Board meetings.
  • Advise on security testing methodologies and processes.
  • Evaluate certification documentation and provide written recommendations for accreditation.
  • Review security measures to recommend changes in policy or technology.
  • Assess IT threats and vulnerabilities, recommending additional safeguards as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a formal Information Systems Security Program.
  • Recommend updates to the Information Assurance Standard Operating Procedure (IA SOP).

Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance.
  • One of the following certifications: CGRC/CAP, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, SSCP, Security+, or GSEC.
  • Minimum of one year of direct professional experience with DoD JSIG RMF and network management security requirements.
  • Extensive experience with RMF.
  • Proficiency in managing Policies & Procedures within security posture.
  • Familiarity with reviewing Security testing methodologies & processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft software, including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, BitLocker, and Office365.
  • Experience with IA SOP.
  • Ability to evaluate threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.

Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $150,000 annually
