Responsibilities
- Design and architect the IP/MPLS network to support high-speed residential internet services
- Plan and implement network expansion and upgrades to meet growing customer demands
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and other network devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues promptly
- Manage MPLS-based services and connections, ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) for critical applications
- Implement MPLS-based traffic engineering for optimal network resource utilization
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
- Continuously optimize network performance and efficiency
- Identify and resolve network bottlenecks to improve overall customer experience
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support and incident response
- Investigate and resolve network-related outages and issues
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations
- Generate regular reports on network performance and capacity utilization
- Collaborate with network equipment vendors and service providers to ensure service delivery and equipment maintenance
- Monitor network traffic trends and plan for capacity upgrades as needed
- Forecast network growth and expansion requirements
Experience & Skills
- IP/MPLS network configuration
- BGP, OSPF and ISIS configuration
Salary Details
- €5,000 gross per year
