IT Audit Manager - Technology Vendor

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to join this Technology Vendor's team in Huntsville, Alabama. As the IT Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and executing the IT SOX Testing Program, overseeing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with SOC/SOX frameworks. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in IT audit, and a deep understanding of risk assessment and compliance frameworks.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Manage and execute the IT SOX Testing Program, including ITGC, ITAC, SDLC controls, key reports, and assessment of third-party SOC reporting.
• Coordinate with Control Owners to ensure effective SOC/SOX compliance, including gap analysis, remediation efforts, and implementation of control frameworks.
• Lead internal controls oversight, conduct company-wide training, and collaborate with auditors for streamlined testing processes.
• Provide consulting on key IT initiatives, proposing process improvements aligned with industry standards.
• Participate in the annual audit plan and conduct related risk assessments.
• Determine root causes for control issues, develop practical solutions, and provide value-added recommendations for improving controls and business practices.

Qualifications:

• Professional certification is mandatory (CISA, CISSP, GIAC, CIA).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive IT audit experience, with expertise in Internal Control over Financial Reporting, SOX 404 framework, and SOC audits.
• Advanced understanding of information security, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with cloud operations, networks, security, and major ERP applications (SAP, Workday, Salesforce).
• Working knowledge of financial accounting, auditing, and financial reporting concepts.
• Ability to travel internationally on a periodic basis.

Location: 

• Huntsville, Alabama (Hybrid - 2/3 days a week in office)

Salary: 

• $140,000 Base Salary + Full-time Benefits (Health, Dental, Medical)
