IT Manager - Solutions Provider

Our client is a premier umbrella company specializing in bespoke solutions for high-luxury brands across Australia. As they continue to expand their operations through customer growth and acquisitions, they are seeking a talented and experienced IT Manager to lead their technology initiatives and support their growing business.

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of IT Manager. This position offers an opportunity to lead the IT department as a solo practitioner, with potential for team management in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and support Windows laptops and Macbooks
• Design, install, and administer network infrastructure (including potential upgrades)
• Maintain VOIP phone system and other office peripherals
• Oversee mobile device management and general desktop support
• Administer Google Workspace (with plans to migrate to Microsoft)
• Perform hardware setup and backup for onboarding/offboarding staff
• Setup and configure on-prem NAS for data management
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO certification, Essential 8 framework)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT administration, preferably in a solo or small team setting
• Proficiency with Unifi and Google Workspace; experience with Extreme Networks and Microsoft is a plus
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with VOIP systems, printers, and mobile device management
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
