We are partnered with the largest stock exchange group in Europe and one of the largest in the world through the merger of the Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, and Lisbon stock exchanges. Over the years, it has expanded further through acquisitions, but has since become an independent entity again.
We are now looking for an IT Support Engineer to join them for an initial 6-month contract.
Day rate: €150PD - €185PD
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive IT support to internal stakeholders, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts promptly to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Perform system and application support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnosis to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and enhance IT processes.
- Manage Windows servers, Active Directory, and Office 365 environments.
- Utilize expertise in Linux Redhat to maintain and optimize server performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in providing IT support in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in Linux Redhat administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows servers, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with AWS services (nice to have).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (Linux or Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
