Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in the UK's evolving telecommunications landscape within the ISP space? 

We're currently seeking a dynamic Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain carrier-grade networks. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with top industry partners to deliver high-quality network solutions that drive innovation and connectivity across the country.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain carrier-grade networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in the UK market within the ISP sector.
  • Utilize your expertise in Juniper IP and routing protocols, including IS-IS, BGP, LDP, RSVP, MPLS, EVPN-MPLS, L3VPN, and QinQ, to develop robust network architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions tailored to the UK market within the ISP industry.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Participate in on-call rotation (1 in 4), resolving network emergencies and ensuring 24/7 network availability.


Skills/Must have:

  • Proficiency in Juniper IP and routing protocols, with hands-on experience in designing and maintaining carrier-grade networks.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including MPLS, VPNs, and QoS, with a focus on the UK market requirements within the ISP sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in a UK context within the ISP space.
  • Experience working in a carrier network environment.

Nice to have:

  • JNCIP-SP certification or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with ADVA equipment.
  • Experience with network security and firewalls.
