As a Level 2 Network and Security Administrator working for our esteemed client, a Cisco Gold Partner, you'll occupy a pivotal position responsible for the oversight and optimization of network and security infrastructure. Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of monitoring network and security infrastructure, swiftly addressing alerts and escalating incidents as required.
  • Conduct regular assessments of network and security device health, striving for optimal performance and proactive threat mitigation.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for escalated incidents and complex technical queries, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Execute advanced tasks and configurations on network and security devices, adhering to best practices and security protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with Level 1 support teams, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance overall team performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting on network and security activities to ensure transparency and accountability.

Skills/Must Have:

  • Extensive knowledge of networking principles and technologies, with expertise in Switching (Arista, Cisco) and Firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet).
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents independently and efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to emerging technologies and evolving security threats.
