Level 2 Network Security Engineer - IT Consultancy,

As a Level 2 Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role within an IT consultancy, working closely with one of our esteemed end customers. Your primary focus will be on providing expert support and leading projects related to network security, with an emphasis on Palo Alto or Fortinet technologies. Contract Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Initial 6 months with potential for extension
• Location: 50/50 Onsite/Remote in Toulouse or Nantes
• Day Rate: €300 to €375

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for network security infrastructure, with a focus on Palo Alto or Fortinet technologies.
• Be part of firewall projects, including the creation of new policies, incident response, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement next-generation Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls, along with Cisco ISE, while upgrading network security infrastructure.
• Shadow senior engineers during the initial month to gain familiarity with technology and processes.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Skills Must Haves:

• Experience in Palo Alto or Fortinet L2 support and project implementation.
• Stronger preference for Palo Alto skills.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with Tufin and F5 APM technologies.
