Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Level 3 Engineer, offering guidance and support to resolve complex incidents and problems efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Create and replicate incidents/problems in a mockup environment to facilitate troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Manage escalations and collaborate closely with vendors' TAC support to expedite issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update ITSM tools to ensure comprehensive tracking of incidents and changes.
  • Analyze the impact of complex changes and approve/perform changes as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation and knowledge base articles to enhance team knowledge and efficiency.
  • Participate in project initiatives aligned with your area of expertise, providing valuable insights and support.

Skills/Must Have:

  • Extensive experience and expertise in network and security operations, with a deep understanding of advanced concepts and technologies.
  • Proven ability to solve complex incidents and problems efficiently, employing advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong aptitude for root cause analysis, with the ability to identify underlying issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience managing escalations and collaborating with vendors' TAC support to resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficiency in updating ITSM tools and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Thorough understanding and hands-on experience with Switching technologies, including Arista and Cisco.
  • In-depth knowledge of Firewall technologies, such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortinet.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
