Network Architect - Managed Service Provider

You will be joining a leading technology solutions provider based in London, specialising in delivering comprehensive managed services to businesses across various industries. As a Network Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing robust network architectures for a diverse client base. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Extreme Networks solutions and a proven track record in delivering scalable and reliable network infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Network Design and Implementation:
  • Design and implement scalable and high-performance network architectures based on client requirements.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective network solutions.
• Extreme Networks Expertise:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in configuring and optimizing Extreme Networks equipment and technologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Extreme Networks.
• Infrastructure Optimization:
  • Evaluate and enhance existing network infrastructures for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Implement best practices to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, systems, and cloud specialists, to ensure integrated and seamless solutions.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to clients and internal stakeholders regarding network designs, implementations, and optimisations.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex network issues, providing timely resolution and support.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
• Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network designs, configurations, and procedures.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Architect, with a focus on Extreme Networks solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and industry best practices.
• Professional certifications such as Extreme Networks Certified Specialist (ENS), Extreme Networks Certified Expert (ENEX), or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: 

• £70,000 per annum
