Network Automation Engineer - IT Consultancy

Are you passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive network automation and streamline operations? We're seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Network Automation Engineer for this innovative IT Consultancy in Sydney, New South Wales.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced Network Toolsets such as Elastic, Splunk, Grafana, Solarwinds, and more to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Proficiency in Ansible and Python to automate network tasks and enhance efficiency.
• Act as a Full-stack Network/Security engineer, bringing expertise from renowned vendors including Cisco, Juniper, F5, and Checkpoint.
• Design, build, and implement tools tailored to expansive Enterprise environments to meet evolving needs.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with Linux, Docker Containers, and Kubernetes, particularly in Microservices environments.

Skills / Competencies:

Essential: 

• 6 Years' Experience
• Hands-on experience with Network and Security Tools platforms, PaaS/IaaS/CaaS within significant Enterprise setups.
• Proven ability to construct CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins and equivalent CI/CD Toolsets.
• Craft tools and dashboards for data/reporting analytics to support business operations.

Preferred:

• Deep understanding and practical application of End-to-End network/security automation across on-premises infrastructure and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Hashicorp, MongoDB, Kafka, Jenkins.
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Cisco ACS/ISE, or Tufin would be advantageous.
