We are looking for a skilled Network Design Engineer to join our client's team on a  9-month contract. You'll work in a hybrid model, splitting your time between their East London office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop High-Level and Low-Level Design Documents 
  • Lead software and hardware selection processes, conduct bug scrubs, and perform security vulnerability assessments.
  • Collaborate with Test and Delivery engineers to review test plans, defects, test reports, MOPs, and change tickets.
  • Ensure designs adhere to the clients standards while meeting carrier-grade requirements.
  • Gather business and technical requirements by engaging with various stakeholders during the requirements collection phase.
  • Provide inputs for case preparation and contribute to strategic decision-making processes

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior experience within a Service Provider environment.
  • Strong familiarity with service provider technologies encompassing carrier routing, switching, and security.
  • Demonstrated skill in producing detailed documentation including High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD), as well as technical diagrams.
  • Understanding of distributed hardware architecture, including practical experience with Nokia 7750.
  • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, TE, Hierarchical QOS, LACP, and BGP.
  • Proficiency in configuring firewall policies, address objects, NAT, interfaces, zones, dynamic routing (BGP), and logging
