Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy network solutions that meet customer and business needs.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance and swiftly address any anomalies or issues that arise during your shift.
  • Ensure network security measures are upheld and assist in responding to security incidents.
  • Participate in regular shift rotations, including day and night shifts, to ensure 24/7 network availability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of network architecture, standards, and best practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest networking trends and technologies to contribute to innovation

Skills/Must have:

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a large-scale ISP or telecommunications environment.
  • Profound knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment from industry-leading vendors (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network security principles and protocols.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
  • Effective communication skills and a strong team player.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, or equivalent, are advantageous.
