Hamilton Barnes is currently representing an IT-Consultancy who is looking to take on a Network Engineer for one of their high-profile customers. This role will be an initial 6-month contract with multiple extensions planned.

Responsibilities:
- You will be designing and implementing LAN and wireless network infrastructure based on customer needs.
- You will also collaborate closely with business units to identify pain points and propose long-term tactical improvements in Cisco LAN and wireless domains.
- Configure and maintain network security measures.
- Troubleshoot network issues related to connectivity, performance, and security incidents.
- Monitor network performance, identifying potential issues impacting performance.
Skills/Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration, specializing in Cisco networking technologies.
- Proficient in Cisco network hardware and software, with expertise in wireless network management and documentation.
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of LAN networking technologies, including routing, switching, DNAC, SDA, BGP, etc.
- Fluency in Swedish (speaking and writing).
- Some experience with Python and Ansible is beneficial
