Network Engineer - Telecommunications

As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining their network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the network systems. 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper networking technologies and a strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure components including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Configure and optimize network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and cyber threats.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of new technologies and applications into the network environment.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to the network infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience working as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper networking equipment and software (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS certifications preferred).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Position Overview:
