We are seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our client team in Elkhart, Indiana. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructures. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, assess their existing network environments, and develop customized solutions to optimize performance, security, and reliability.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures for clients based on their specific requirements and business objectives.
  • Perform network assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address network issues and vulnerabilities.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deploy new network technologies and integrate them seamlessly into existing environments.
  • Monitor network performance and security, identify and resolve issues proactively, and implement measures to ensure network uptime and data integrity.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams, including troubleshooting network issues and implementing best practices for network management and security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and DNS.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
