Network Monitoring Specialist - Service Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Monitoring Specialist to join the team in Munich. As a vital member of their technical support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and security of our VSAT and IP network monitoring systems. This position requires expertise in VSAT technologies, particularly IDirect, as well as a strong understanding of IP networking, including routing protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain VSAT and IP network monitoring systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VSAT and IP networking, including routing and connectivity issues.
• Provide second and third-line support to internal teams and external clients, resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain network monitoring solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards, maintaining a secure network environment.
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule, providing support as needed (On-call compensation: €10 per hour).

Skills/Must have:

• Located in Munich or nearby area, willing to work in-office four days a week for the first six months.
• Proven experience with VSAT and IP network monitoring systems, preferably IDirect.
• Strong understanding of IP networking concepts, including routing protocols.
• Background in technical support, with experience in second and third-line support roles.
• Eligible for security clearance in Germany or EU.
• Fluent in German, both written and verbal.

Salary:

• €50,000 - €65,000 Gross Per Year + On-Call Bonuses
