Network Pre-Sales Solutions Architect - Systems Integrator

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical pre-sales process for enterprise networking opportunities
• Design and present Cisco-based networking and security solutions
• Produce high-level designs (HLDs) and architecture documentation
• Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) using tools such as Cisco CCW
• Deliver technical presentations and act as a trusted advisor to customers
• Collaborate closely with sales teams on solution positioning and account strategy
• Engage with internal delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies including AI-driven infrastructure and modern data centre architectures

Technical Environment:

• Predominantly Cisco-focused environment (approximately 85%)
• Supporting technologies include Fortinet (approximately 15%)
• Cisco Campus Networking including switching, wireless, and security
• Cisco Meraki
• Cisco ISE
• Cisco Firepower
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as Cisco ACI, Hyperfabric, and AI-driven data centre solutions

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience in a pre-sales or solutions architect role
• Background working within a Cisco partner environment
• Strong knowledge of enterprise and campus networking
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switching and wireless technologies
• Experience with Cisco ISE, Firepower, and Meraki solutions
• Ability to produce HLDs and BOMs, with Cisco CCW experience advantageous
• Strong presentation skills and confidence in customer-facing environments

Desirable Skills:

• CCNP or CCIE certifications
• Exposure to Fortinet technologies
• Experience with Cisco ACI or data centre networking
• Interest in emerging technologies such as AI within infrastructure environments

Location and Working Pattern:

• UK-based, ideally South of England
• Remote working
