Network Security Engineer - Media Consultancy,

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join this leading media-focused consultancy, in Brussels, Belgium.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security and efficiency of the network infrastructure. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing network security solutions, including Arista and Cisco switches, next-gen firewalls, and network access control (NAC). This is a customer-facing role, requiring strong communication and management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement network solutions, focusing on Arista and Cisco switches.
• Strengthen network security measures, including the implementation of Next-Gen Firewalls and Network Access Control (NAC).
• Collaborate with clients to understand their network requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Manage and optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in network security.
• Be proactive in transitioning from a closed network to an open network architecture.

Skills/Must Have:

• Arista / Cisco Switches 
• Network Design / Configuration / Implementation 
• Network Security / NAC / Next-Gen Firewalls (closed network currently but now need to open it up) 
• Communication / Management skill (customer facing) 

Nice to have: 

• Cisco ISE
• IP Solutions 
• Infrastructure: Microsoft Servers / VMware

Salary:

• €80,000 - €100,000, negotiable on expereince

Location:

• Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid - 4 days onsite).
• Potential for projects in Germany in the near future.
