Network Security Engineer - Healthcare

Our client is currently seeking a talented Network & Security Engineer to join their team to work on their internal network infrastructure. This role will be pivotal in maintaining and optimising their network & security infrastructure. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong operational skills and expertise in managing various network & security technologies!

Responsibilities:

• Configure, and maintain Cisco Routers & Switches to ensure optimal network performance.
• Implement and manage Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) for centralised management and automation of network policies.
• Configure, deploy, and manage Checkpoint firewalls to enforce security policies and protect against unauthorised access and threats.
• Utilise VMware NSX for network virtualization and micro-segmentation to enhance security within virtualised environments.
• Maintain and optimise F5 load balancers to ensure high availability and performance of web applications and services.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in implementing, and maintaining network & security solutions.
• Strong proficiency with Cisco Routers & Switches, Cisco ACI, Checkpoint firewalls, VMware NSX, and F5 load balancers.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, security standards, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to drive security initiatives forward.

Salary/Package:

• 150,000-160,000AUD
