Responsibilities 

  • Provide expert-level support for network infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability and security
  • Design, implement, and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, security breaches, and data loss
  • Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network-related projects
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and techniques to enhance the overall security posture
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and implement corrective actions
  • Stay current on industry trends, security threats, and technologies to proactively address potential vulnerabilities
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures


Experience & Skills 

  • Proven experience as a Network Support Engineer with a focus on Network and Security in a telecommunications environment
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewall management, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment
  • Familiarity with security standards and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills in German and English to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients
