Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for network infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability and security
- Design, implement, and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, security breaches, and data loss
- Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network-related projects
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and techniques to enhance the overall security posture
- Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and implement corrective actions
- Stay current on industry trends, security threats, and technologies to proactively address potential vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Network Support Engineer with a focus on Network and Security in a telecommunications environment
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewall management, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment
- Familiarity with security standards and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills in German and English to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients
Salary Details
